Inner Critics

This art piece has started to be an indicator in my growth as an artist. Starting way back in 2013 with my doodles, I always revisited this particular illustration to prove to myself how far I have come.

It is not to say that I have grown better in all aspects of my life. Some got better, others got worse. However, that does not stop me from appreciating the progress I have made and the caution I need to continue to carry, less I stagnate and deteriorate.

All in all, it all comes down to the inner critics and fears that accompany us as we grow and learning to maintain this delicate progress of sustainable self-change.
